This booklet has been written for Young Lives participants on the impact the study has on affecting child poverty policies

Abstract

This ‘reciprocity’ booklet is a thank you to the 12,000 children and young people and their families who have participated in the Young Lives study over the last 15 years. It has been written for the Young Lives participants to explain the history and objectives of the research study, and the impact the study has had on affecting policies that addresses child poverty in each of the 4 study countries. It has been translated into 6 languages.

Young Lives is an international study of childhood poverty, following the lives of 12,000 children in 4 countries (Ethiopia, India, Peru and Vietnam) over 15 years. Young Lives is funded by the UK Department for International Development.
