Abstract

This document represents the final report of project R6751, \"Soil fertility and organic matter dynamics in floodplain rice ecosystems in Bangladesh\", which aimed to develop and promote more appropriate and sustainable soil management methods. The report describes project activities and outputs, including the use of nutrient budgets to examine nutrient management in rice-based cropping systems, and the asssessment of the utility of various indicators of changes in soil and nutrient management.
