Abstract

This Working Paper gives an overview of water resource management in the southern African countries of Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe. It discusses water policy developments such as decentralisation and the involvement of the private sector in water service provision, and examines the implication of water policies for poor communities, households and individuals.
