Siha construction report
Abstract
An Environmentally Optimised Design ethos has been implemented to carry out research on a rural access road in Siha District, Tanzania. The road is steep and winding in nature, passing through agricultural landscape. The approach adopted is to utilise a number of different demonstration sections at specific locations along access roads according to the requirements of the surrounding road environment. This report includes a description of the pavement construction methods.
