Abstract
Sanitation and Hygiene Applied Research for Equity (SHARE) Consortium is funded by the UK Department for International Development. They seeks to contribute to achieSanitation and Hygiene Applied Research for Equity (SHARE) Consortium ving universal access to effective, sustainable and equitable sanitation and hygiene by generating, synthesising and translating evidence to improve policy and practice worldwide
This report synthesises the breadth of work undertaken by SHARE during its first phase of work that ran 2010 to 2015. It presents some of SHARE’s key successes, particularly highlighting the impact its innovative research, capacity development activities and research into use efforts have had in shaping sanitation and hygiene policy and practice globally. It is hoped that the case studies included will inspire others working in similar consortia.
