Abstract

This report examines options for incorporating SEACAP 21 findings on slope management into courses at the National University of Laos. Assessment of the various courses led to the conclusion that it would be preferable to concentrate on the post-graduate approach, due to the relative complexity of the work carried out under SEACAP 21. The two best options seem to be either a post-graduate elective course in slope engineering as part of the M Eng course or a special one-off course in slope engineering.
