Abstract

This report presents findings from an assessment of opportunities for RIU engagement in Zambia. It is based on multiple visits to Zambia by technical team members, the Team Leader, and the Country Manager, stakeholder engagement by the team members as well as a facilitation agency, a review of country-specific and innovations literature, and the prior experience of team members in pilot RIU countries. The RIU Programme in Zambia will be centred around the drivers of poverty affecting rural households. This report details the objectives of the programme, and suggested ways for meeting them.
