Abstract

An outline of the purpose, methodology, results and outputs of the Third Fisheries Project in Bangladesh concerned with the stocking of up to 100,000 ha of floodplain with carp fingerlings in a cost effective way to improve the returns from the open water fisheries to the rural communities that depend on them, is presented in this news article.
