Abstract

The report outlines a project to gather accessible information on reef-fisheries management, and especially on effects of area closures (marine reserve establishment) on tropical reef fish populations and communities. It also aimed to collect data on the effects of cessation of fishing on reef fish populations and communities at sites in the Caribbean and the Egyptian Red Sea.
