Abstract

This chapter focuses mainly on five areas of reproductive health: maternal health, termination of pregnancy, contraception, teenage pregnancy and cervical cancer. Although the status of HIV/AIDS and other STIs are important components of reproductive health, they are addressed elsewhere in this Review, and are not included here in detail.
