Release and Popularization of Cultivars in Rajasthan
Abstract
This chapter explains the procedures for varietal testing and state release in Rajasthan. Techniques for the popularisation of new varieties with farmers are described, including the use of block and first-line demonstrations and the role of NGOs. The final section before the general conclusion examines the seed producers and process of seed dissemination in Rajasthan.
