Protocol - What is the evidence on the effectiveness and efficiency of different social transfer targeting methodologies?

Abstract

This is the protocol for a systematic review which will examine the evidence regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of targeting mechanisms employed by social transfer programmes in developing countries. The focus of the review is not on a particular intervention, but on the range of mechanisms used by a subset of development interventions to identify programme beneficiaries or participants.

The protocol provides background information and details of the methods to be used.
