Abstract

The purpose of the Project was to promote and disseminate an integrated pest and soil fertility management approach/strategy (IPSFM), in particular, against Striga, stemborers and declining soil fertility, to enhance food security, income generation and environmental sustainability, thereby reducing poverty in Lake Victoria basin of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, resulting in an overall improvement in the communities’ livelihood status.
