Abstract

Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR), in partnership with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is launching three-country case studies (Ethiopia, Kenya and Nigeria) on wage employment creation schemes in agriculture and agro- manufacturing sectors in the context of inclusive growth in Africa. The study proposes to use ‘political economy’ and ‘political settlements’ as the governance analytical lens. This report sets out the background, objectives, outline and expected outcomes of the project.
