Policy-ready projections: making climate models more useful to planners

Abstract

This briefing summarises a study that uses six climate models to provide six detailed sets of data describing how the varied aspects of climate, e.g. from average summer temperatures to the frequency of hot days or heavy rainfall, can be used to assess the spectrum of possible climate impacts which decision-makers need to be aware of when formulating adaptation plans.
