Abstract

This case study of a micro-hydro project in Nepal aims to increase knowledge of how the Sustainable Livelihoods (SL) approach and framework might be applied to infrastructure projects, specifically energy supply interventions. It is aimed at helping policy-makers and energy specialists to understand the SL approach, its relevance and potential advantages.
