Abstract

Under PETRRA there were 45 sub-projects (SPs) commissioned for technology development, uptake methods research and policy research. This is one of a series of 10 books on the PETRRA programme.

Book 5 comprises a briefing on the value-based research approach within a competitive grant system and 3 appendices:
1. Guidelines for training provided under PETRRA project
2. Terms of reference (TOR) for the Project Steering Committee (PSC) and Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC)
3. Assessment of PETRRA concept note by TEC member/reviewer
