Pakistan-United Kingdom Fruit Fly Project. Final Technical Report, Project R6924.

Abstract

The purpose of this project was the development and deployment in Pakistan of technologies for the monitoring, evaluation and management of fruit flies, which are cost-effective, environmentally benign and accessible to producers of all types. The project conducted trials of protein bait sprays on guava, investigated the relationship between fly attack and fruit loss, examined cheap alternatives to commercial baits, and held a training workshop for fieldworkers and researchers.
