Abstract

Zimbabwe is heavily dependent on humanitarian aid in response to food shortages and events such as the recent cholera epidemic. This report examines the process by which humanitarian assistance is funded and given, under the headings of coordination, funding, leadership and partnership, discusses the experiences of NGOs, and makes a number of recommendations for humanitarian reform.
