Abstract

The term ‘cyber VAWG’ is used to capture the different ways that the internet and information and communication technologies exacerbate and magnify acts of violence against women and girls.

This document presents findings from a rapid review of available literature on the nature and prevalence of cyber violence against women and girls. It is accompanied by a parallel query (Q212) on what has worked to help to prevent cyber violence against women and girls, including digital technology-based solutions.
