Abstract

TRL has been approached by DFID to provide Technical assistance to the

Mozambique Feeder Roads Project in the Zambezia province of Mozambique. The purpose of this technical assistance is to develop and test a range of bituminous surfacing technologies, which can be applied, using labour-based construction techniques.

The purpose of this report is to set out the methodology for implementation of a series of demonstration trials and to report on a preliminary visit

carried out by TRL personnel in June 2000.
