Abstract

This is the final report of a pilot study that, in an attempt to begin to understand the phenomenon of mixed uses in an international context, took place in New Delhi as a preparation for a major international survey.

This report introduces informal sector enterprises and home-based enterprises, outlines the aims of the pilot study and choice of collaborator and survey site and provides details of questionnaires and survey documents used.
