Abstract

This booklet focuses on the research of the Disability Knowledge and Research (KaR) Programme. It lists the ideas/ideals that underpinned the programme, describes the 3 main research strands:
-Research on enabling disabled people in poverty reduction
-Policy Project research
-Commissioned thematic research
and notes the themes that recurred throughout the research and the 5 key messages that emerged.
