Mapping potential implementing organisations for girls' economic empowerment programme

This report maps organisations that competitively seek innovative ideas from both the private and non-profit sectors

Abstract

DFID and the Nike Foundation are working in partnership to address constraints to the empowerment of adolescent girls in developing countries. To inform the design of this programme, this report maps existing organisations that competitively seek innovative ideas (e.g. programmes and products) from both the private and non-profit sectors potentially to reach girls, youth and/or women in developing country contexts and provides support in the forms of finance (e.g. grants) and/or technical assistance to bring their ideas to market or to implementation.
