Abstract

Problems identified with respect to the use of agro-chemicals include illegal imports and their use, repackaging of chemicals by vendors removing the labelling, incorrect application, inadequate application equipment and protective clothing. Harmonised legislative and administrative systems throughout the region should continue to be pursued, and this should be supported by enhancing national capacity.
