Abstract
The data comprises tables and figures that provide information on the status of land use and land cover changes across Unguja Island, Zanzibar over 10 years
This data article supports environmental assessments and impacts of climate change, due to emissions of greenhouse gases. It also supports the modelling of effects on pollinators in Indian Ocean Islands, in particular Zanzibar Island. The data is of great significance to future research on global change.
This research was conducted under the ‘Alternative Livelihoods for Food and Income Security in Four Indian Ocean Island Nations and in Zanzibar’ project. It was partly funded by the UK Department for International Development, a core donor of the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology.
