Abstract

This presentation describes work in progress to identify ways to accelerate the availability of vaginal microbicides for HIV control in developing countries, based on studies in India, Nigeria, Rwanda and Tanzania. Initial observations are described, in particular the finding that stakeholders prefer existiong mechanisms and terminology.
