Integrated management of banana diseases in Uganda. Final Technical Report.
Abstract
This project has sought to evaluate, validate, promote and disseminate banana management technologies that will reverse the decline in banana productivity in Uganda that has occurred over the last few decades. A major emphasis has been on the pest and disease problems that are unarguably the major biotic reason for the loss of production. Additionally, there are climatic, soil fertility and sociological issues associated with the problem, which have to be considered within a strategy being devised for improving banana production.
