Abstract

This document represents the main final report of project R8195, 'Integrated floodplain management - Institutional environments and participatory methods'. The report describes project activities and outputs, including improved understanding of the factors important in the establishment and maintenance of integrated floodplain management (IFM) and improved understanding of the factors underlying successful implementation of IFM plans and initiatives including informal and ad hoc interventions.
