Abstract

This brochure describes projects in India funded by the Innovation Challenge Fund, designed to put DFID funded natural resource research outputs into use in order to reduce poverty. Projects outlined are: Coalition to diversify income through underused crops; Improving livelihoods in South Asia through sustained access to new technologies in rainfed agriculture; Promoting sustainable livelihood development; Knowledge to action: enhancing traditional dairy value chains; and Poverty alleviation through rice innovation systems.
