Abstract

This report looks at the state of ICTs in Pakistan in order to understand how these can be used in the development sector. It is suggested that the way forward is to develop services targeted at grassroots levels, and explore Agro-Informatics programmes targeted at Agriculture university students. Other opportunities involving IT based project management and IT enabled communication plans of the various Federal and Provincial governments need to be explored
