Abstract

IAVI and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have developed a computer simulation model to explore the potential timeline for developing an HIV vaccine, and to identify opportunities for accelerating that process. This analysis, a collaboration between IAVI and the Foundation, examines improvements that could be made to the pipeline, and how strategic investments could shorten the timeframe for success.
