Abstract

This issue reports presentations made at a Special Research Workshop on Control of Genital Ulcer Disease and Congenital Syphilis. It includes an evaluation of rapid syphilis tests, a study on maternal syphilis in Tanzania and details of antenatal syphilis screening and treatment programmes.
