Abstract

Based on national data, this chapter examines the trends in health outcomes of national development programmes in Bangladesh. The extent of the inequities thereof are considered in terms of gender, socioeconomic and rural-urban differences, to provide insight into the prevailing health situation in general and of the socially disadvantaged in particular.
