Abstract

This facilitation guide was developed by the ICRAF-led Bringing evidence to bear on negotiating ecosystem service and livelihood trade-offs in sustainable agricultural intensification in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Zambia research project. The guide aims to guide the workshop facilitator to:

  1. gather perspectives from various stakeholder groups on the influence of Sustainable Agricultural Intensification (SAI) practices on socio-ecological domains.
  2. identify key investments needed to minimize negative influence.
  3. identify key data needs to assess the tradeoffs and synergies.
  4. explore tradeoffs and synergies of the SAI practices.

This research is an output of the Sustainable Agricultural Intensification Research and Learning in Africa (SAIRLA) programme
