Forestry, Bushmeat and Livelihoods: Exploring the Coverage in PRSPs

Abstract

This is the final report for the project in which the treatment of forestry and bushmeat issues within the Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers of 16 countries was reviewed. The countries selected have extensive forest cover and are known range states where the consumption of bushmeat is significant. The majority of the countries are in west and central Africa; some countries from the neotropics and south-east Asia were also included.
