First steps to assessing semantic equivalence of the EuroQol Instrument: Results of a questionnaire survey to members of the EuroQol Group

Abstract

Paper presented for discussion at the EuroQol conference in 1995 (Fox-Rushby and Badia, 1996) describing, and reflecting upon, the development of international language versions of the EuroQol Instrument. It concludes that a principal \"challenge\" was \"to directly assess conceptual equivalence between the English language version and each of the other language versions.
