First report of Mycosphaerella gibsonii in South Africa

Abstract

The pine brown needle pathogen is newly reported in S. Africa on Pinus canariensis, P. griffithii [P. wallichiana], P. pinaster and P. radiata in the Southern cape, Eastern Cape and Eastern Transvaal forest regions.
