Financing the cost of social protection, 26-27 May 2011, London
Abstract
A conference of leading global experts working on the financing of social protection was convened by ODI on 26/7 May 2011. The objective of this conference was to promote dialogue between key research and policy agencies working on issues relating to the financing of social protection in Low Income Countries, and to contribute to effective policy responses to the challenge of the provision of large scale social protection provision in the 2010s in a rapidly changing political and economic climate.
