Abstract

This document represents the final report of project R7583, 'Livelihoods improved through integrated crop management: Bihar and Uttar Pradesh', which aimed to identify the factors contributing to low crop productivity and impoverished livelihoods in the irrigated farming areas of northern Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh. The report describes project activities and outputs, including the development of a work programme and project memorandum documents for two subsequent, linked NRSP projects looking at integrated crop management and integrated water management.
