Abstract
This document represents the final report of project R6603, \"Nutrient cycling or soil mining? Agropastoralism in semi-arid West Africa\". The report describes project activities and outputs, including the development of a nutrient cycling model indicating the source of nutrients, where they get lost and how they are transferred, and the identification of economic and soil fertility constraints as well as options to overcome them.
