Abstract

This document represents the final report of PD103, \"Review of DFID's portfolio of outputs under the socio-economic methodologies programme\". The report describes programme activities and outputs, most notably the development of recommendations for the enhancement of the use of SEM outputs by NRSP programme management, those preparing project proposals and researchers in the field, in order to strengthen research quality with respect to the livelihoods of specific groups of the poor, and the development of recommendations for the improvement of NRSP documentation provided to support research calls, research proposals and their review and assessment.
