Abstract
This report represents the final report of NRSP project R7244, 'Energy constraints in production systems in peri-urban areas around Kumasi and Hubli Dharwad', which aimed to determine the evolving pattern of energy consumption in peri-urban households and small scale enterprises and to deduce the impact of this on the poor. The report describes the projects activities and outputs, including a summary of the key energy constraints to, and opportunities for, improved livelihoods in Hubli-Dharwad and Kumasi.
