Final Country Report for Tanzania.
Abstract
This report is the final report of the Tanzania team in relation to the Knowledge and Research (KaR) Project No. R8335 'Small scale private sector participation in the rural water supply sector'. The report presents peer reviewed guidelines for enhancing the participation of the small-scale private sector in the provision of rural water supply services in Tanzania. The research has successfully clarified and set the scene for a conducive environment to emerge for the implementation of the National Water Policy with regard to participation of private sector in rural water supply through the development of guidelines for the small-scale private sector participation in rural water supply.
