A summary of the design support provided to the Department for International Development for the Climate Change Support Programme
Abstract
A brief summary of the design support provided to DFID Nepal for the Nepal Climate Change Support Programme (NCCSP). A ‘second tranche’ of finance will enable the programme to explore the possibility and potential of rolling out the Local Adaptation Plan for Action approach nationwide and provide direct support in an additional 10 Districts in the Mid and Far West of Nepal. It will also provide support to integrate adaptation into renewable energy sector in Nepal through the Central Renewable Energy Fund, which is currently under design.
