Evaluation du risque fiduciaire (FRA) Gouvernement du Burundi [Assessment of Fiduciary Risk (FRA) Government of Burundi]
Abstract
This report is the result of a mission which took place between 19 and 28 January 2009. It took place mainly in Bujumbura and included a visit to the province of Ngozi. Regarding the assessment of public financial management (PFM) system, the mission mainly based its judgment on the results of the recent PEFA assessment in November 2008 (which was also attended by the consultant). The investigations of the mission in January focused particularly on specific aspects of health and education sectors, in accordance with the requirements of TOR , on risk analysis in the field of corruption (not covered in the PEFA study ) and the PFM reform program (program credibility) and monitoring fiduciary risk .
