Abstract

This Policy Brief looks at the policy implications of environmental factors affecting natural resource based livelihoods, based on research in St Lucia and Belize during 2002-2003. The sustainability of traditional NR-based livelihoods is assessed, and policies are suggested for sustainable alternatives.
