This research examines international engagement with a war-traumatised population

Abstract

The objective of this research was to delineate the extent to which risk management and enhanced threat awareness among UN agencies and international NGOs challenge their ability to achieve ambitious and transformational policy goals in conflict-affected fragile states. In the case of South Sudan, the researcher approached the research as an anthropologist, using ethnographic tools to illuminate the challenges and contradictions in the international engagement with a war-traumatised population
