Abstract

Several Latin American countries have developed electronic platforms as a mechanism for providing citizens access to budget information. This video showcases some of the main features of the Budget Transparency Portals of two countries, Brazil and Peru. These two portals are considered to be best practices in the region thanks to the extensive amount of budget information that they provide and the easy-to-use format in which they publish it.
