Abstract

The overall purpose of this project was to assess the economic burden that tobacco imposes at the household level and estimate the healthcare costs of major illnesses due to tobacco use in Kenya. This will provide part of the economic evidence to support domestication of the FCTC (Framework Convention on Tobacco Control) in Kenya.
